The Hotel de Wereld was the site where the Germans surrendered their occupation of the Netherlands on 5th May 1945. Liberation day is celebrated every May 5. This was one of the last times when many of the veterans joined the celebrations and took part in the parade. Click on pictures to view slideshow.
